Become A Fifth Grade Morning Announcer! |
Current Fourth Graders,
Would you like to become a Morning Announcer? If so, please fill out the morning announcer application sheet that was sent home to all fourth grade students today and return it to Ms. Clough by Friday, May 26, 2017.
If you think you might like to become a morning announcer, you will have an opportunity to be mentored and practice these skills this June with our current fifth grade student morning announcers.
Science
in Kindergarten
On Monday, Mrs. Zermani’s class had science rotations that were organized by Courtney Peschel and implemented by different parent volunteers. At one station students made “worm hotels” and observed how earthworms play an important part of the study of earth science and conservation. At another station students created a tornado in a bottle. They also observed what causes thunderstorms by mixing a blue ice cube in warm water and adding red food coloring. The red and warm water rose, while the blue and cold water sank. The students also learned how plants absorb pollutants and they also made rain forests in a jar. The seed germination activity was a big hit where students learned and discovered that a plant embryo exists in every seed.
Congratulations to All of our Students for Raising funds for Pennies for Patients!
