Families, Come to The Annual Autumn WPS Student Art Exhibition

 At the Winchester Public Library

Head to the library to view and celebrate the creative efforts of  50 young artists from grades K-12 and get a glimpse of the K-12 Visual Art curriculum.

These 2-D and 3-D pieces of art work will be on display from October 6 until November 30th.  A list of participating artists is attached to this email.

Library

Refreshments will be served and awards will be presented to the participating artists.

We are very grateful for the Library's generosity and their desire to host such a spectacular show.  Through their support we are able to share what the Art Department does with the community.  This also lets students know their work is valued beyond school walls.

We are also extremely grateful for the support and craftsmanship of Andrew at Frame Haven, and Dave at Winchester Art and Frame.  Both establishments donated their time, materials and expertise in framing each and every 2-D piece in this exhibit.  Their professionalism adds to the level of excellence displayed in this beautiful art work, and has made this show even more spectacular!

Congratulations to our young artists and their teachers for kicking off the 2017-18 school year with a stellar art show!

In addition to a team of Lincoln Staff members who will help the students hone their new skills, we will be joined by a small team of high school students who write the newspaper at Winchester High School.
