Dear Lincoln Families,
Fall Parent/Teacher Conferences Conferences are scheduled for October 26, 27, and 28. These are Early Release Days for all students K - 5. Teachers have sent families an online Conference Sign-up Sheet through Signup Genius. Please be sure to choose a date and time as soon as possible if you have not already done so.
Fifth grade students will be offering babysitting services for those parents who need it. All proceeds will go towards fifth grade events for this school year.
Principal for The Day raffle tickets will also be on sale during the conference days. Student names will be drawn from the raffle bins and announced on HALLOWEEN!
The Flu Clinic for students will be on Wednesday, October 19th. Please contact our School Nurse, Lynn Vozzella, if you have any questions.
Our next All School Assembly will be held on Thursday, October 27 where our staff and students will be treated to fall and Halloween songs by our first grade students.
I hosted a Principal's Coffee for Kindergarten Families in September, and second coffee for Fifth Grade Families in October. The next Principal's Coffee is scheduled for November 4, for First Grade Families, from 9:00 AM - 9:45 AM in the cafeteria. I look forward to meeting with you!
Parents of Students in Grades 4 and 5 - There is going to be a first ever Parent-Child Book Club at Lincoln School! The event will take place on Wednesday, November 16th. The book is Where the Red Fern Grows, by Wilson Rawls. Don't forget to sign up - Space is limited to 10 fourth graders and 10 fifth graders. There will also be a Pot Luck dinner included.
