Its Not Too Late to Sign Up for Extended Learning Activities at Lincoln School!

Extended Learning Program

We are offering several creative and fun before school and after school programs. We have extended the registration deadline!  For instance, there is Painting, Cooking,Yoga, Movie Making, Team Sports, and much, much more!

Here's is another unique course offering through our Extended Learning Program
Kids Care Club: Want to help make your school, your community, your world a better place? Then Kids Care is the club for you!  Join other Lincoln humanitarians and work on various service projects each week. Activities will include making toys and treats for shelter animals, sending postcards to children with life threatening illnesses, crafting and delivering Valentines for the elderly, assisting Lincoln teachers, raising funds for a charity, teaching games or reading with younger children and cutting fabric to make shoes for disadvantaged children in Africa.  Each child will receive a volunteer journal to reflect upon the activities and brainstorm/inspire new projects. Volunteering is fun and rewarding.  You CAN make a difference!  There are still spots available! (For students in grades 3, 4, 5)

There are still slots available in several programs.  For course descriptions and to register, please click here.

There is also a program during February vacation week.

Important Staffing Update -  Reading Specialist, Ms. Barbara Tully, will be retiring from her position and teaching at the end of this week.  Please join me in congratulating and thanking Ms. Tully for her many years of dedication and service to Lincoln School and the hundreds of students she has worked with. The staff and students will greatly miss Ms. Tully.  A search is underway for selecting a new reading specialist.  Once we have completed the hiring process, I will share this new information.

It's Cold Out There!

Please remind your children to bring or keep snow pants and winter boots in school each day.   Also, Please help us keep all students safe by reminding them that there is no sledding/sliding down the hill in the front of the school and no sliding down the polls located on the front steps.

Thank you,
