Dear Lincoln
As we enter into report card season and
MCAS assessments later this month, I would like to take this opportunity
to remind families of the importance of regular attendance to school. To
this end, I respectfully ask that parents help their children achieve their
best by arriving to school each day on time, and not allowing them to miss
school needlessly. Also, equally important is the need for families to
plan vacations and days off from school for travel, etc. during the designated
vacation weeks and holidays. The entire school staff greatly appreciates
your ongoing attention to this as we greatly value our contact time with your
children. Below is the schedule for the Spring 2016 MCAS.

Third grade students will complete the MCAS ELA Reading Comprehension
assessments on Tuesday, March 29th
and Thursday, March 31st , 2016.
v
Fourth grade students will complete MCAS ELA Reading Comprehension assessments on Wednesday, March 30 th and Friday, April 1st, 2016.
v
Fifth grade students will
complete MCAS ELA Reading Comprehension
assessments on Tuesday, April 5th,
2016 and Wednesday, April 6th, 2016.
IN MAY 2016….

Third grade students will complete MCAS Mathematics assessments on
Tuesday, May 10
th and Thursday, May 12 th, 2016.
v
Fourth grade students will complete MCAS Mathematics assessments on Monday, May 16 th, and
Wednesday, May 18 th, 2016.
v
Fifth grade students will
complete MCAS Mathematics assessments
on Monday, May 9 th and
Wednesday, May 11 th, 2016 and Science and Technology/Engineering assessments on Tuesday, May 17 th and Thursday,
May 19 th, 2016.
